Started his career in Saudi Arabia in the field of fire protection & security systems and later moved over to UAE. With a rewarding career spread over 16 years in the Middle East, Zakir has earned his expertise both in technical knowhow and in business development through his association with leading Multi National Corporations in the Gulf. He is counted as one of the veterans in the field of fire protection & fire alarm system industry. Prior to his foray into AIG, he was holding the post of Northern Emirates Manager (Fire Safety & Security Systems) with G4S UAE, besides performing his Regional role to standardize the fire systems business & to provide technical assistance to the G4S operating companies in the NAMESA (North Africa Middle East South Asia) region.
His professional experience in diverse business landscapes would prove to be an asset to the company's forward march towards the global market. In a short span of time Zakir has brought a new vigour to the division with a revamping of the organizational structure beginning with gradual decentralization & delegation of authorities.
